Identity with Intent

I produce proudly. With a sense of intentional design from a background of research and experience, I understand what makes brands move. Throughout my career, I’ve helped create, lead, mentor, and grow the companies I’ve worked for and partnered with. Work ethic and attention to detail drive my creative vision. I thrive on inspiring and mentoring the next generation of designers with that same excitement and passion.

I’ve worked with some heavy hitters, both large and small. Here’s a few recognized in this portfolio.

Brands

Strategize

All Hands

Meta thought seriously about how to communicate a small business strategy to their product and sales teams. An internal web-based event (All Hands) was the ideal place to engage their audience with video clips, cameo appearances and quizzes alongside live informational speaker sessions. As lead creative for design, I directed the team to stretch Meta’s existing brand into something that could stand as a sub-brand for this and future All Hands events. I also cross-collaborated with our video team to finesse a cohesive look/feel (video below).

Small Business

An internal communications strategy was a big initiative for Meta as they tried to connect their smaller teams together for an overarching vision. I creatively led the account as we created a new visual flair into their color block brand. Relying heavily on GIFs and small video snippets, we added dynamism without taking away from their clear messaging and ample whitespace.

The Rebrand

Lyda envisioned a future in 3D and virtual spaces, prompting a complete brand transformation to establish a new tier of the company. I was brought in to develop the brand identity and creative direct a suite of 3D and static assets to tell this story. This project pushed my creative directing skills further than ever — deepening my understanding of 3D techniques, animation, and research while collaborating with top virtual designers and animators to render a seamless, pixel-perfect brand identity.

Brand Book

Leaksmart came to us with an outdated brand and new hardware that needed to be photographed and rendered. I helped work with photographers, copywriters, and a 3D artist to create a 60+ page brand book alongside several other pieces of collateral to complete a comprehensive brand package. The success of this piece was in large part at the post-production level — as myself and my team finessed each photo and 3D render to perfection.

Market

Launching One

Delta partnered with our team to launch its brand new Delta One® cabin. Our team was tasked to develop the concept and narrative for this piece as well as direct a large scale production. I helped craft the narrative, art direct, and produce the video. I was also part of post-production, including masking and touching up every aspect of each frame in detail.

Stories of Menopause

(Coming Soon)

I designed and helped produce social media ads that captured the real customer stories of women facing perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause. Quotes were derived from these stories for static ads and I helped storyboard several of the video captures for a heartfelt user-driven marketing campaign.

Parks & Payments

This piece required a vast knowledge of PayPal’s interface and methods of presentment. As the creative lead on the account, I worked with the team to master and refine each shot to produce a piece that fit PayPal’s quality and objectives. Three narratives, multiple weeks of shooting and several layers of masking and post production tied together a polished product for the brand.

Roadshow

This serious but playful, gamer-esque brand needed to figure out a way to display complex data in a snapshot to potential investors. I led our design team to template and revamped their existing brand to create an appealing way to digest all they had to convey.

Fatherhood

My company was asked to launch this Atlanta startup and showcase their novel product to the market. I helped ideate, write, produce, art direct and edit this piece alongside our video team to create a heartfelt father and daughter story for the brand. Greenlight has grown significantly since this video launched, becoming one of the biggest tech startups in Atlanta.

Playing with Food

(Coming Soon)

Finding some fun and play with catchy puns, I pushed Adobe’s generative fill to pixel perfect each crumb of these static ads. This fresh take was targeted specifically for a hipster & vibey Millennial and Gen Z audience.

Present

Setting the Stage

As one of my most conceptual pieces to date, this deck was inspired by my love for magazine design: National Geographic. I was tasked to create a mock stage presentation to set as the backdrop for a marketing video my agency was producing at the time (located below). The whole deck in its entirety — concept, writing, graphics and design — was a solo endeavor.

Billions in Sales

I served as the lead creative for PayPal, building a proven track record of success that spanned over a decade. With my team, we helped attract, gain and sustain hundreds of partnerships for the company year over year. Brand research and strategic development played a huge role as we studied each and every pitch to deliver the right visuals, content and strategy at every single turn. After a thousand engagements, we became a trusted partner of the PayPal sales team — driving progress and pushing the needle forward.

On Stage

With over 40 conferences and dozens of speakers per engagement in my roster, each stage moment was an opportunity to make PayPal a hero. As Creative Director, I led our design team to implement a brand and vision for the events from the ground up — including templates, decks, animation, content, signage and even swag for the events.

Partnership

RFPs required intensive research, content, cobranded templates, image hunts and graphical stylization alongside a complimentary pitch video all within a tight timeframe. One of my many tasks during this process was to direct the design process and collaborate with the video team so that we could understand and execute a singular vision and style. For some of the work we involved printed pieces, takeaway boxes and/or digital video players to complete a perfectly designed, show-stopping pitch. I’ve directed hundreds of these RFPs and each were a singular creative challenge to overcome, which we did successfully.

Investment

As an update on their existing brand, Kabbage needed a more creative way to approach and visualize a standard consumer as well as create stunning graphics to pitch to potential investors. We worked alongside their internal teams to revamp the existing brand and create a narrative that could work as a hypothetical customer journey. As the creative lead on the account, I templated and designed the deck to create a story that served the backbone to the deck pitched to investors.

Brand Spin-off

SimplePractice sought to launch a new portion of their company through an investor pitch and brand redesign. Steering completely away from the SimplePractice brand, I worked directly with their internal marketing lead to create a look and feel for the spin-off alongside their launch. I directed the template, working with the design team to create a female-driven, textural and artistic feel for Monarch.
